Thrillcations Rules

  • Our communities main goal is to bring theme park and roller coaster lovers together and to enjoy experiencing them. As such you agree to not discuss politics, religion etc. beyond the realms of light-hearted conversation to ensure all trip goers have an enjoyable experience.

  • You agree to abide by all the individual park rules while you are in them and respect other park goers. The same goes for any hotel we stay in or transport that we use.

  • Failure to follow the rules set out by the parks/hotels we are visiting may result in removal from the Thrillcations trip with no refund and a possible ban from attending any future trips with Thrillcations.

  • ​​Thrillcations reserves the right to remove anyone from a trip who is bringing the club/community into disrepute by behaving inappropriately before or during a trip.

  • You accept that your Thrillcations trip organiser will have the final say on any dispute that may occur in regards to the running of the trip.

  • Thrillcations are not responsible for any unforeseen park/ride closures and we will do our best to offer a suitable replacement park if possible.

  • Thrillcations are not responsible for any missed connecting travel, either before or after the trip, such as flights, if they are not booked by us and do not form part of the trip. Please do let us know if you are going to be late/delayed in joining the trip and we will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments where possible.

  • Please treat your trip organiser and fellow trip goers with the respect they deserve. Abusive or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the current trip with no refund provided and a possible ban from future trips.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to experience a Thrillcations trip and join our community.

  • Lastly please remember to have fun as that is our primary mission! We can’t wait to welcome you on our next trip!

 FAQs

  • The short answer is yes. All of our community trips require you to be a Thrillcations member. But the good news is that you can become a member for free!

  • At this time, being a Thrillcations member allows you to book onto our member only trips, and then also view any trip photography that was taken on the trip.

    However, watch this space as we will potentially have further member benefits in the future!

  • No! The good news is that anyone is welcome to join. We here at Thrillcations encourage you to join us even if you just have a budding interest in theme parks or roller coasters! Once you’ve been on one of ours trips you’ll be counting credits and making a Top 10 Coasters list in no time!

  • If any trip you are interested in is fully booked then don’t worry as there is a waiting list. Simply contact us at info@thrillcations.co.uk and you will be placed on the waiting list for if someone else cancels. There is also the possibility, if the demand is high enough for a certain trip, that we can increase the number of members we bring on that trip by using a larger vehicle so do please register your interest!

  • It is worth saying that every trip we go on will be reasonably intensive given the nature of visiting theme parks and spending all day in them. Longer trips will be more intensive compared to shorter trips. Depending on the specific trip, there will also be long journeys between parks, so being prepared for long journeys is also highly recommended. But you will still have an amazing time as completing these trips is highly rewarding!

  • No! These are your trips too, only ride what you are comfortable riding. No one at Thrillcations will make you ride anything you do not want to. You do you!

  • No, although we highly encourage that you do given the small group numbers, in order to have the best possible experience! As long as you are back at the vehicle or designated meeting place at the agreed upon time, the day is yours to do as you please within the parks.

  • It depends on the location, but for the US we would highly recommend suncream/screen as you will be out under the sun for long periods. Along with a good selection of good comfortable clothing.

    Comfortable footwear is also a must! It goes without saying that you will be on your feet for long hours so it is critical you have comfortable footwear.

  • If you are booking with another person/persons please do let us know on the booking form and we can pair you in the same room. If you are booking on your own however and would still like a shared room, we will try and match you with another trip member of the same gender and age range. Please note however, that if due to numbers, a shared room is not available, you will need to pay the individual room subsidy for your own room.

  • Full payment for all trips will need to be made at least 3 months in advance of the trip. As tickets, hotels and other arrangements have to be made ahead of time.

  • If you need to cancel a trip for any reason please do contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer your place to another Thrillcations member.

    Please note that if you need to cancel within 3 months of the trip departure date, then no refunds can be provided, given that tickets and accommodation will already have been booked and paid by this point.

    If you need to cancel a trip before the 3 months deadline, then we can provide a partial refund (minus the deposit amount for the trip if you have paid the full balance). If you have only paid the deposit, then this can’t be refunded. Please do provide us with as much notice and information as is possible.

  • Unfortunately, we can’t book flights for you and you will need to arrange and pay for these yourself (if required). However, we can assist you with booking your own flights by making recommendations. And/or advising what flights other members of the trip have booked so as to coordinate arrival/departure times.

  • Unfortunately, all trip participants will need to be over the age of 18 at the time of the trip commencing.

  • Yes, you will need to organise your own travel insurance to be able to participate in a Thrillcations trip. Please note that Thrillcations takes no responsibility for any injuries sustained on a trip whether it be in or outside a park. You are responsible for your own welfare/health. As such travel insurance is required for any trip members.

    You will also need to arrange your own Visas/ESTAs for our US based trips if you are not a US citizen. This can be done very easily via the US’s visa waiver program (ESTA): Official ESTA Application Website - Home

  • We operate as a ‘not for profit’ community/club and as such membership is required for all of our trips. This also means that you are not covered by the Package Travel Regulations as we are not a commercial tour provider. We offer member only trips, occasionally through the year, on a ‘not for profit’ basis. Our goal is simply to facilitate like minded individuals coming together to enjoy our shared passion!
